Trevor Jones - who just raised $140k USD to support free cancer treatment for those in need.
A group of 30 digital artists got together to exhibit and auction NFTs with all proceeds going to Maggie's.
Ol' Trev didn't just create a Web3 Castle Party and try to sell random NFTs. He leveraged his community, and the communities of 30 other artists, to create an event that will ultimately help 4000 people in need of cancer treatment.
While NFT sales may be down, and the attendance at Web3 events have been tough during the bear market, this just shows that when an event is done well, it can be massively successful.
