Almost half the internet can now integrate NFTs in a few clicks.

In today's quick n' cool news:

There's a new plugin, called Mintpress, that lets users mint and display NFTs on their Wordpress websites.

Here's what's neat about it:

  • Users can add NFT functionality to their website, without any coding knowledge - it works right out of the box.

  • It uses the Tezos blockchain, so transactions are fast, cheap and energy efficient.

Here's where it's lacking:

  • At the moment, it only works with Tezos - which restricts its applications (Ethereum and Solana are the go-to blockchains for most NFT projects).

Here's why this is cool, regardless of whether you're a Wordpress user or not:

Wordpress websites make up 43% of the entire internet.

So now, almost half of all websites in existence can integrate NFTs into their sites and onboard into Web3 in a few clicks.

Obviously it's early days - but this has BIG potential.
