Binance & Elon vs. Twitter bots

In today's quick n' cool news:

Binance are planning to help Elon fight Twitter bots, using blockchain technology.

...but what would this solution actually look like?

Right now, it's unclear - but seeing as blockchains require payment every time data is transmitted/added to them, our guess is that Binance is looking to hit scammers where it hurts (their wallets).

For example:

If users comment the same (or similar) content, more than X times per day, under the tweets of accounts that don't follow them back - they have to:

  1. Prove their identity, in order to continue reaching those accounts.

  2. Pay $1 to make any further comments/tweets to accounts that don't follow them back.

As for everyone else - as long as we're not copy/pasting the same content/links to high profile accounts multiple times a day - we'll never have to pay a dime.

This is just a guess at what the solution could look like - we have no idea what approach Binance are planning to take.

As long as it makes copy/paste spamming a losing game, we're all for it.
