All this talk of hyperinflation has got the adrenaline running.

Let's dial things back, with a heavy dose of FUMB (fun + dumb) news.

There's a DAO (aka 'crypto-based-go-fund-me') organizing a 'holy pilgrimage' to meet the Dogecoin dog in Japan.

Kabosu, the dog featured in all of your favorite early-twenty-tens-era doge memes, is getting up there in years! And sadly, has been in poor health of late.

So before she joins all of our childhood pets on that farm are parents told us about, Kabosu's diehard fans are organizing a pilgrimage to her earthly residence in Sakura, Japan.

Tridog, the organizer of the trip had this to say:

“This pilgrimage… will explore the genesis of one of the greatest legends of internet history, and provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go back to [Kabosu’s] roots in and around Tokyo, a place known for its wacky and wonderful happenings,”

The trip takes place from May 3-7, and the cost of the all inclusive package is $4200 + airfares.

Very cute.

And hey, look at that! We didn't mention hyperinflation once.

(...did we just ruin it?).
