In today's quick n' cool news:

As of yesterday, NFT Day became a real, annual, day of celebration.

(Not a joke).

On September 20th 2017, NFTs first became 'a thing' - and five years later the industry has grown into an $11.3 billion market.

What started as a way to sell .jpgs at a profit, has since seen companies like Yuga Labs (responsible for Bored Ape Yacht Club) and Doodles raise hundreds of millions in funding, to build full scale products.

(E.g. Yuga Labs just hired a Chief Gaming Officer, in their race to win the metaverse away from the likes of Zuck).

And yeah, there's certainly a joke to be made here about NFT fanatics now having a religious day of worship...
