Alright, here's a dumb/fun one to finish out the week.

'Metaverse' has just lost the Oxford Dictionary's 2022 Word of the Year contest to 'goblin mode.'

Since then, Zuck has filed a lawsuit against Oxford Dictionary, arguing that 'goblin mode' is two words and should therefore be disqualified.

(We made that last bit up).

But honestly, with Zuck's blind commitment to building his version of the metaverse ( which has so far wiped ~$800B from META's total market value) we wouldn't be surprised if he did.

Credit where credit is due: ol' Zuck probably had a large hand in getting 'metaverse' to the number two spot.
