Polygon...what does it actually do for us - not as investors - but as users?
So, Polygon...
Other than buying and holding it, what can we (as users) actually do with it? What's the big draw?
This one is a simple:
Just like with Ethereum, dApps are the main attraction..but with the added bonus of fast n' cheap transactions.
Let's jump right into an example:
If you were to be playing a Web3 game that rewarded you with NFTs for every level you completed, would you prefer to:
A) Pay anywhere between $1 to ~$4k in transaction fees every time you received an NFT? (Like you might on Ethereum)
or
B) Pay anywhere between $0.0005 to $0.2 in transaction fees every time you received an NFT?
If you answered A) - you're an animal!
(Also, can we borrow some money?).
Obviously most users would go for Option B) - and that's what Polygon provides.
Which is all well and good, but...
Are there even any dApps on Polygon?
Yeah - in fact, we were blown away with what we found here!
We did a deep dive on that (and a WHOLE bunch more) in last week's edition of Over The Shoulder.
