Would you date in the metaverse? 33% of singles say they would...

Six words that every crypto bro has secretly itching to be asked, on a first date:

"Nice NFT, where'd you get it?"

...and their dreams might be about to become a reality.

Dating.com recently conducted a survey that found 33% of singles are open to dating in the metaverse. Which seems farfetched, but then again - so did Tinder when it first launched.

(For those of you too young to remember, online dating felt as though it was reserved for the 'perpetually single uncles' of the world, up until 2012).

But here's what Tinder had, that the metaverse doesn't:

Broad adoption of the hardware required to run it.

As things stand right now, if Zuck's vision of the metaverse is going to be the driving force of VR adoption - we may never get to test the accuracy of this survey.

So in the meantime, we're going to run our own survey...

Would you date in the metaverse? (Click to place your vote):

  1. Sure, I'd give it a go.

  2. Absolutely not - I'm too beautiful for VR.

We'll announce the results in tomorrow's edition.
