NFT loyalty programs are booming (or at least, the tech driving them is).

We were VERY excited when we first learned about Shopify's NFT integration, back in July.

...then we discovered it was invite only, and only available to Shopify Plus subscribers (which starts at $2k per month).

But that was 4 months ago. Things move fast in Web3, and now there're a wide range of third party apps offering something similar.

One of those apps is 'Taco' - which lets you build an NFT loyalty program within your online store.

For example:

  • Have a best selling t-shirt? Give NFT holders exclusive access to the matching sweatshirt.

  • About to release a new line? Give NFT holders early access to the drop.

  • Selling some products that your mom wouldn't approve of? Hide them behind an NFT gated page.

The cool part is, Taco ain't the only ones doing this.

ShopX, Novel, Lit Token Access, Manifold Merch Bridge, and PERCS NFT Gating are all offering variations on the same theme.

(It's WILD how far everything has come in just 4 months).

The reason we're writing about Taco is they've just partnered with the Tezos blockchain - which isn't crazy on its own - but when you zoom out and look at the compatibility they now offer, in total:

Ethereum, Polygon, Tezos, Solana, and Flow - it's ah, pretty darn cool.

Here's the takeaway:

The more compatibility creators can offer → the more people they can reach → the faster the Web3 pie grows.

Nice!
