​Porsche enters the Web3 space.​

This is the power of long held brand trust at work (a rarity in a space as young as Web3).

At Art Basel this week, Porsche announced the drop of their new NFT project.

Here’s how it will be rolled out:

  • A total of 7500 NFTs will be released for sale in Jan, 2023

  • Buyers can design the final NFTs “in a collaborative and immersive journey lasting several months.”

  • NFT owners will get exclusive access to virtual and real world experiences

...it sounds vague, niche, and largely unappealing to most people.

And that's why it will work...

Porsche has plenty of fans/customers that are:

  1. Obsessed with the brand.

  2. Not short on cash.

Meaning, if details around the “collaborative and immersive journey” are unclear - it's not a problem.

Porsche has built enough brand trust with its customers for the sheer promise of something exciting/exclusive, to be enough.

While we may not be the target audience - we're keen to see how this one plays out.
