25+ decentralized finance projects crashed due to a central point of failure
Confused? Same. Here's what happened in a nutshell:
It was announced on Sunday that prolific DeFi developers, Andre Cronje and Anton Nell, are calling it quits on their working relationship - closing ~25 of their projects.
The problem was, they didn't name which projects they were closing down, so everyone pulled their money out of any & all projects associated with the two, which crashed prices up to 75%.
Smooth, guys.
Crypto regulations to (hopefully) give a green light to the broader crypto economy
At this point, for many crypto startups, building a company is like playing Russian Roulette with the SEC.
Why? Because there is little to no regulatory guidance for the space.
Today there was a spark of hope, after it was announced that the Biden administration plans to enact a crypto executive order in the coming weeks.
The ideal outcome being a clear and fair outline of what is ok and what will get you in front of a grand jury, acting as a green light for those on the sidelines of the crypto economy to start building.

Wait, is it 2017 again?
Turns out Tai Lopez launched an NFT project. And boy was crypto Twitter was fast to point out its flaws, noting that all funds are immediately siphoned into the team's personal wallets.
The real question is: are we that surprised that the 'here in my garage' guy is doing shady shit?
I mean, he has read over 10,000 books...
