The Gov’t Should Be Scared Of AI, Not Crypto.
TL;DR
The Government should be more worried about AI regulation, than crypto regulation - because it’s WAY more powerful and moving WAY faster.
E.g. we don’t know how to code, but while we were writing this article, we took 10 mins to get ChatGPT-4 to code us a ChatGPT-3 bot that answers questions about AI.
You can try it out here!

Damn! That headline hits hard, don't it?
And not in a 'yaaay crypto, booo AI!' kind of way.
More a 'it's moving WAY faster' kind of way.
If you haven't played around with ChatGPT much just yet, the weight of that headline might be lost on you.
Allow us to demonstrate ChatGPT-4's 'God in box' like powers...
We'll start with this: we don't know how to code (as much as we'd like to).
But what we do know is the basic requirements needed to run an app on huggingface.co. So with that...
We asked ChatGPT "Code me a hugging face python app that uses gradio to let folks ask ChatGPT questions about AI, using an OpenAI api key."
It spat out the code. We uploaded it.
And you can now interact with that very ChatGPT app, here.
...it took us maybe ten minutes? Including a break to top up our coffee.
Gaining that knowledge/ability (without ever having coded) would have previously required a course - or at the very least a few days of YouTube tutorials, trial & error, experimentation, and forum queries.
But now, as long as you know the right question to ask:
* bleep-bloop-bleep * it's done.
And ChatGPT is getting better, fast. Faster than any consumer accessible technology ever has.
(That headline hits a little different now, right?).
Here's the bad news for the Web3 community:
Even if the regulatory attention does turn towards Artificial Intelligence...
AI is going to play a BIG part in the third generation of the web - so we're kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place.
